Many of the shops depicted are still recognisable in today's Moulsham Street. The wide range of independent retailers still trading here have helped the street to retain a feeling that this is a very different place to the city on the other side of Parkway. Sadly you will be hard pushed to spot any gentlemen in straw boater hats these days and it's a lot harder to find a place to park.
